The Blushes philosophy is that everyone is made to feel very welcome in our happy and vibrant salon. The atmosphere is chatty and fun and we love making sure our clients are not only given the best hair or beauty treatments but that they feel like part of the Blushes family.
Meet the Team
Jo Deakin
Salon Owner & Hair Stylist
Jo was a tutor in hairdressing for many years and in between has styled the hair of a thousand clients, old and young. She now concentrates all her efforts on running the salon and supporting the staff as well as still providing hair services to clients.
Maizy Stutchbury
Hair Stylist
Maizy has worked in Blushes since 2016. Her colouring expertise is second to none and she specialises in balayage and creative colouring. Maizy works on Mondays and Fridays with Saturdays by arrangement

Jeremy Ray
Hair Stylist
In 2016 Jeremy began working his magic on clients at Blushes. He has built a large client base which he manages himself as there are so many we don't have the time! For Jeremy's services, contact him direct.
Abby Weston
Hair Stylist
Abby is returning to hairdressing after a mummy break in 2020. Abby can blow away bad hair with her blow drying skills and product use. Abby works on Fridays and some Saturdays by arrangement.
Beth Hammant
Beauty Therapist
Beth has been a beauty therapist at Blushes since 2016. She loves creating nail designs on both natural and acrylic nails and is a whizz with the wax pot. Beth works Tuesdays and Fridays and 1 Saturday a month.
